1854 Crystal Palace Iguanodon       Scale 1/35

Originally modeled by artist Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins. Who constructed 3 different prehistoric reptile models (Iguanodon, Hylaeosaurus and Megalosaurus). In 1854 they were placed in Sydenham Park, at the location of the Crystal Palace in England. This is replicartion of the model that was constructed in Sydenham Park. Constructed from polyresin and mounted on a solid wood base, this magnificent piece is hand-painted with an acrylic resin for a natural and long-lasting finish. A solid brass plaque engraved with the name of the dinosaur accents the base. This beautiful piece has been sculpted and hand-painted with a high level of attention to detail. It is definitely not a toy. Our museum quality sculptures are scientifically accurate and created to scale.
